The village of Saxlingham where this cottage is situated is a wonderfully peaceful part of the world surrounded by rolling countryside and perfect for enjoying scenic walks and cycle rides. Those with an interest in history or architecture may like to pop into the village church which has some fine examples of stained glass windows dating as far back as the 13th century. 4 miles to the east of the village the market town of Holt is a great place to spend an afternoon wandering round the shops and stopping for lunch in one of the numerous eateries whilst the North Norfolk coast with its beaches harbour villages and wildlife reserves can also be reached within a 4-mile drive.
