A short distance further into the village guests will find several pubs and a handy village shop. For those who do wish to explore a little more of the local area the popular resort of Hunstanton is just 5-miles around the coast whilst the National Trust estate at Brancaster is located within a 10-minute drive. From the driveway area guests enter this property through the kitchen/diner which has been attractively finished with a central island and an excellent range of equipment including a Range-style oven hob microwave an American-style fridge/freezer and dishwasher whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer are kept in the utility room alongside a WC. At one end of the room next to the bay window which overlooks the garden there is a large dining table which comfortable seats twelve and is ideal for enjoying celebratory meals together. Across the hallway from the kitchen/diner there are two lounges one which has been set up as a formal sitting room and the other a more relaxed family room. The more formal lounge is an excellent space in which to simply enjoy spending time together and has an elegant bay window as well as a marble fireplace and a TV which can be enjoyed from the plush sofas. The second lounge meanwhile is a sunny dual-aspect room with a TV Blu-ray player iPod dock and an Xbox 360 games console. Stairs lead from a central hallway lead up to the first floor where four of the property s six bedrooms are situated. The first of these is the stylish master bedroom with its king-size sleigh bed antique dressing table and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and WC. This property is located in Aylsham a well-connected town lying just off the A140 allowing easy access to Norwich to the south and Cromer to the north. Aylsham itself is a small market town which offers a good range of shops pubs and cafes. Interestingly the town is one of only five in the UK to be part of the Cittaslow network: an international association which recognises towns which are making a commitment to improving the quality of life in their town and follow the principles of the Slow Food movement. Ten miles to the north the coastal town of Cromer offers a quintessentially English seaside experience with a wide sandy beach a pier-end theatre and a fantastic range of independent eateries. The Norfolk Broads are also within a 10-mile drive with the town of Wroxham being a great place to hire a boat for a relaxing day on the tranquil waters. The main living area of this cottage is located on the first floor however the kitchen/diner can be found on the ground floor and is the first room that guests will come to on arrival. On entering this cosy and welcoming cottage you will find yourself in the bright and inviting lounge which is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a wonderful day with plenty of comfy seating a wood burner TV/DVD and music system. Going into the light and stylishly designed kitchen/diner you will find a charming dining area with seating for six guests and the kitchen is fully equipped with a fan assisted electric oven ceramic hob with an extractor microwave fridge freezer dishwasher washing machine and condensing tumble dryer. Heading up to the first floor you will find two cosy double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and overlooks the garden and is heated by a storage radiator a double bedroom having plenty of storage space. For a change of scene the town of Wroxham is located 15-miles to the south of the village and is known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads . There are numerous places here to hire self-drive boats or to jump aboard one of the many boat trips which allow guests to enjoy a leisurely trip on the tranquil waters. Guests arriving at this cottage will be delighted to make themselves at home after their journey in the pretty lounge/diner with its whitewashed walls which give it a touch of maritime chic.
