For a special twist head off at night and visit Dalby Forest 16 miles away. One of the best dark sky discovery sites in the country the Milky Way can be seen by the naked eye. The location for this cottage is extra special set down a quiet country lane in the tiny hamlet of Golden Grove on the outskirts of Ruswarp and a few miles from the gorgeous Yorkshire Coast. You have the best of both worlds here peace and quiet in a rural location (and parking right outside!) but with the delights of Whitby (2 miles) just a few minutes drive away.
