The farm is situated just outside the pretty Welsh village of Talybont-on-Usk. The River Usk floats by the grounds and the whole area is lulled by bodies of water. 3.5 miles away you ll discover the Talybont Reservoir. Take a stroll together around its banks or take out a canoe. The Brecon Beacons National Park surrounds you and offers plenty of peak action for a family hike. The farmhouse itself is a classic Georgian family house set in a lush secluded landscape. Step in and you ll find bright hearty rooms like the sitting room with its roaring wood burner in an inglenook fireplace. Or the kitchen a merry space with a sociable dining table and a four-oven Aga. Explore the nooks and crannies of the house and you ll uncover many original gems like oak floorboards and beams. Head up the original oak stairs to discover the seven bedrooms including a massive double room up in the eaves and a master with a carved wooden four-poster bed.
