The Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal is located within close proximity to the house and is a great location for scenic walks along the tow path or for hiring a boat for the day. Meander around the thriving market town of Abergavenny (2 miles) where you ll discover some fantastic local produce shops and places to eat. The house is just outside the village of Llanfoist which the Sustrans cycle network passes through making this a great location for keen cyclists. The national park itself offers plenty of activities from climbing to horse riding. Once inside the property you ll discover a spacious sitting room with original beams and stone inglenook fireplace with a gas fire making this a lovely space to relax and unwind with everyone after a busy day seeing the sights. A CD system and large TV give guests plenty of entertainment options too. The large table in the dining room can comfortably seat all of your guests for long and leisurely meals or snacks while the cottage-style kitchen comes equipped with everything you ll need including an electric cooker gas hob microwave dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. Steps lead down to a second sitting room/snug with two armchairs and an ornamental fireplace which is a super additional space if you re looking to hide away and curl up with a good book or listen to some music. There is also a handy ground-floor cloakroom with WC along with a shower room with a WC as well.
