This simply stunning detached residence sits in a very secluded spot at the end of a quiet lane. Surrounded by mature shrubs trees and fields beyond this is the spot to get away from it all or enjoy a special family occasion. It is on the periphery of the hamlet of Capel Isaac yet this has excellent access being only three miles from the A40. The delightful market town of Llandeilo is just four miles away offering a host of independent shops and eateries. Walks galore and the nearby National Botanic Garden of Wales is well worth the visit if you can tear yourself away from this wonderful home. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). The river Dulais runs alongside the property. It is a tributary of the River Towy the longest river in Wales which flows into the sea at Carmarthen Bay. During the summer months it can be reduced to a large stream and fun to paddle in. In the rainy winter months it can turn into a torrent tumbling over the slate bed rock. In the Spring the Mallards return to this stretch of the river for the breeding season and you may see Mother Mallard with her ducklings streaming along in tight formation in her wake. A frequent visitor is a heron who stands near the weir patiently waiting for an unsuspecting fish. In the morning wild geese can be seen flying over Pistyll Bach from lake to lake and returning late afternoon. Enter into this fabulous Eco property into the hallway and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The galleried lounge has a warming wood burner TV and floor to ceiling windows with glass shutters on the exterior that reflect warmth back into the property that can be closed for cosy winter evenings. The kitchen has a feature AGA an electric oven and halogen hob dishwasher fridge freezer and microwave. There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room has ample space for enjoyable formal dining and leads to the beautiful garden room with comfortable seating and table and chairs where you can plan your day of exploration over a hearty breakfast. Along the hallway to the ground floor double bedroom which has an adjoining separate WC and a separate shower room the hallway door can be locked to create a private suite of an evening. This bedroom also benefits from a door to the garden room. Further along the hallway is the indoor heated eco natural swimming pool filtered organically (by the plants surrounding the pool) rather than by chemicals. There are two staircases the first leads to the first floor master bedroom which has a double bed with occasional seating looking out over the gardens a balcony to the side and a shower with separate WC. The second staircase with cottage style stairs leads from the dining area to a galleried landing through to a double bedroom that overlooks the lounge and gardens beyond a family bathroom with bath and WC and a fourth double bedroom which can also be accessed from the master bedroom making it suitable for families. Outside is a fantastic space with ample garden furniture BBQ for some al fresco dining and beautiful ornamental pond with fountain.
