North Wales is full of places of historical interest and wild mountain treks to enjoy. The coast is gilded with old castles too as well as traditional sea side towns with piers and promenades like Conwy and Llandudno. Mount Snowdon is the jewel in the crown so why not take a climb or go to the summit by railway? Snowdon is the highest peak in Wales. A trip to Harlech and Portmeirion should also be on everybody s agenda. Very local highlights include the slate mines of Blaenau Ffestiniog the longest Zip Line in Europe and the fastest in the world and Bounce Below. Betws-y-Coed has a good range of eateries and pubs to try out of an evening. The cottage is also ideally located to take in many of the Little Trains of Wales including the Blaenau Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways. When you step through the front door you will find yourself in the kitchen area a compact and practical space fully equipped with a four-ring electric hob and oven as well as a microwave. There is also a fridge-freezer located in the tall cupboard under the stairs and the dishwasher is behind the cupboard door to the left of the sink. You ll find a washing machine behind one of the doors too. There is a dining table and chairs for all four guests. Beautiful Machynys Bay is a wonderful location with beach walks and a 14km long Millennium Coastal Cycle Path right on your doorstep. On the very edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park this sweet terraced cottage refurbished in 2018 is well placed for walkers and cyclists. Less than a mile to all facilities at Ystradgynlais. Lots to see and do for all ages including the nearby National Show Caves of Wales at Dan yr Ogaf where there is even a dinosaur park to enjoy. The market towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery are a short drive and have a good range of independent shops and eateries. The city of Swansea is just 15 miles with several retail parks music and sporting venues and beaches beginning at the Mumbles and extending right into the Gower. A spacious detached cottage set in the heart of a beautiful country golf course. Perfectly located for those that enjoy a round before heading to the clubhouse for a glass of wine or a bite to eat. Ffos Las racecourse is a short drive away and Kidwelly with shops and imposing castle is just a little further. A 6 mile drive away is the golden sandy beach at Pembrey Park with many other activities available. The coastal path runs the entire Welsh coast so a trip east to Machynys with a lovely flat seaside walk and a bit of shopping at Trostre is a must. Visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales or head west to historic Laugharne and the resorts of Tenby Saundersfoot and many other visitor attractions. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Enter the pleasing lounge/diner with comfortable seating a character stone fireplace with an wood burner effect electric fire and TV/DVD. There are also French doors to the patio so you can let the outside in on those warmer days. Head upstairs from the lounge to the first floor where you will find the further two bedrooms a double bedroom and a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request). Outside there is a pretty private patio and a large open lawn which is enclosed but leads to the golf course with lakes. Please note dogs are not allowed on the golf course itself.
