Bourne View in Porlock Somerset is tucked away in the heart of the village making it an excellent base for exploring this thriving Exmoor village as well as the surrounding countryside and coastline Sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 double bedrooms Cosy country cottage in lovely quiet village location Wood-burner in the living room Easy access to all village amenities including restaurants pubs tea rooms and shops Fabulous area for walking the coastal paths open moorland or woodland trails Bed linen and towels provided Wifi heating and electricity included Arrive from 4 pm Depart by 10 am The cottage is accessed via a footpath shared between the terraced cottages which adjoins the Coleridge Way The entrance door opens into a hallway with the sitting room at the front of the property the dining room and kitchen to the rear The back kitchen door opens onto a small courtyard with outside table and chairs The stairs from the hallway lead upstairs to one large double bedroom with king-size bed one smaller double bedroom 4 double bed with a hand basin and a spacious family bathroom comprising shower over the bath toilet and hand basin The modern kitchen is fitted with an electric oven induction hob microwave fridge with small freezer compartment dishwasher and washing machine Other equipment includes toaster kettle a variety of cookware and kitchen utensils cutlery crockery and glasses A television with BT TV Netflix and DVD player is provided in the living room and wireless broadband is available throughout the property A clothes dryer ironing board iron and hairdryer are also provided for your convenience A travel cot is available on request but please note that bedding is not supplied for the cot Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation The property is fitted with thermostatically controlled electric heating throughout There is also a wood-burner in the living room a basket of logs kindling and matches will be provided in the cooler months to get you going Further logs can be purchased from the Hardware Shop in the village Bed linen duvets and towels are provided for your convenience but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips Some tea coffee and sugar is provided There may also be other non-perishable items like salt pepper oil and some herbs or spices available Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid dishwasher tablets and surface cleaner will be present in the property A small supply of toilet rolls will be provided There is a small courtyard to the rear of the property with outside table and chairs and there is a bench at the front of the cottage The property is accessed via a footpath which runs along the front of the cottage and is shared with the other cottages in the row Parking There is no allocated parking for Bourne View but there is free street parking available in the village by the church or the recreation ground in Parson s Street or sometimes in Doverhay There are also two Pay and Display Car Parks in the village if required It is not possible to park or pull up outside the cottage as it is only accessible via the footpath It is about 100 metres on foot from the High Street or from Doverhay to the cottage Sorry no dogs This property is strictly non smoking The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests
