Situated in a quiet corner of Seahouses the cottage is a short walk from the villages harbour front beaches shops restaurants and cafes and is perfect for those wishing to just relax or as a base for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Once you have finished exploring the village you can take a boat trip to the spectacular Farne Islands to spot the resident puffins and grey seals or set out on foot to follow the coastal path north to picturesque village of Bamburgh. In Bamburgh you can visit the magnificent castle o nce home to the Kings of Northumbria the RNLI Grace Darling Museum or just e xplore the village and its stunning beach Bamburgh also has a number of lovely shops pubs restaurants and tearooms a particular favourite is the Copper Kettle which is highly recommended. Beadnell Bay is a short walk away and provides a range of watersports and a largely deserted beach perfect for a picnic.
