The idyllic guaranteed snow village of Maria Alm is situated at the foot of the Hochkönig, at an elevation of 800 metres. The Hochkönig ski area with 150 km of slopes is part of Ski Amadé. In addition to skiing you can also walk and sled. There is a wide network of Nordic tracks (only 150 metres from the house) which makes Maria Alm an ideal winter sports destination. Maria Alm offers activities in all seasons. The beautiful nature, and many walking paths, mountain bike trails or one of the many beautiful manicured golf courses assure that the village is worth a visit any time of year.
