It is very centrally located in Sauerland, close to many nice villages, activities and sights. Küstelberg has three restaurants, its own ski slope with a ski school, and the bakery is less than 100 metres from the chalet. This is a lovely area full of natural beauty, and the very renowned and popular Rothaarsteig and Höhenflug, as well as other hiking trails, run past Küstelberg. This beautiful chalet is made entirely of wood, with a delightful ambience that will give you a wonderful holiday feel. It is fully detached, faces south and offers a vast view of the forest and mountains. After a long day outside, it's wonderful to "come home" to this pleasant and comfortable apartment! This beautiful apartment is located in the winter sports village of Küstelberg, at the edge of the village with a magnificent view over the mountains and forests. In spite of the quiet location, you can quickly walk to the facilities the village has to offer. There are two restaurants in the village where you can get a wonderful meal, there's a bakery and a ski and cross country ski rental. Just outside the village , within a 10-minute walk, you'll find a nice ski slope (Schlossberg) with two ski tows and a nice skihut. If you're a more experienced skier/snowboarder, you can get to Winterberg by car in less than 10 minutes. In Winterberg you'll find a number of ski areas. There's 'Skiliftkarussell Winterberg' (with snow guns), 'Wintersportpark Sahnehang' (with snow guns), 'Sportberg Kappe' (without snow guns) and the 'Ruhrquelle' (with snow guns). You could of course also go to the surrounding villages and visit ski area 'Postwiese' in Neuastenberg or 'Skiliftkarussell' in Altastenberg. Each of these are beautiful ski areas, where you can really enjoy the snow! For cross country skiers there are also lots of routes to choose from. Around the 'Kahler Asten' there's a beautiful cross country area with 120 km in connected tracks. If you don't like skiing or cross country skiing, there are beautiful walking routes through the snow. There are routes with different lengths, with beautiful height difference and magnificent views. There are also many nice shops and restaurants in Winterberg, as well as the famous World Cup bobsleigh track, indoor skating rink, swimming pool and much more. The beautiful winter sports town of Willingen is also not far away, about 20 minutes by car. Please don't forget that this apartment is an ideal starting point for walkers. There are also many possibilities for walkers with a stroller: there are partly paved walking paths through the forest.
