For those wanting to go a bit further the Northumberland coast isn t too far away for a day at the beach. Walking into the hall you will instantly notice the care and detail the owners have gone to create luxurious surroundings. You will find coat hooks and a spot for your boots which make the after walk clean up so much easier. The oak staircase will then take you up to the first floor. Before we head upstairs head along the corridor and arrive into the magical open plan living space. The historic market town of Hexham is a short drive away and offers plenty of activities for families and the pretty village of Corbridge is situated just a few miles further east. Both are perfect for a spot of shopping or indulging in a pleasant dinner or afternoon tea. Upon going through the front door you will enter a small cloak room area with hooks and boot rack for those muddy boots and clothes after a day s exploring. Heading on you will be in awe as you walk into the large lounge/diner which has arched patio doors on two side which are the original entrances. Inside you have a large three seater sofa along with a comfy five seater corner sofa huddled around a log burner and large wall mounted TV.
