The amazing Kielder Water and Forest are on your doorstep and so you will be able to explore go for walks in the peaceful forest enjoy all types of bike rides and try your hand at a variety of water sports and other activities. This is an official International Dark Sky Park and so a night-time visit to the Kielder Observatory to gaze at the Milky Way is a must! You can visit Bellingham the gateway town to Kielder where you can sample the delights of the pubs shops and café pop into pretty Falstone village or head out to historic Ottherburn. Back home you can walk to the village pub for a drink and a meal or enjoy a coffee in Kielder Castle s cafe on the edge of the village. Access is at front of house into the hallway with a useful shoe cupboard and a telephone console with a landline telephone for incoming calls. Follow the hallway to the kitchen/diner where you have everything you need and more to cook some great meals in together including an induction hob an eye-level double electric oven with a separate grill fridge freezer and a slow cooker so you can prepare a nice dinner for when you get back from your days out exploring. There is also a microwave coffee machine and a cafetiere. You will find some handy USB charging points for your devices too. The large dining table has seating for seven in front of a feature wood burner fireplace a lovely setting for food and conversation. Leading from the kitchen is the utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a collection of picnic ware to use outside and the glazed door leads you into rear garden and patio areas.
