This lovely retreat is situated in the seaside village of St Bees the most westerly point of Northern England. There is a long sandy beach with a promenade and coffee shop plus this is the starting point of the Wainwright Coast to Coast walk to Robin Hood s Bay. St Bees Head which can be seen from the garden is an RSPB seabird reserve. The village is full of history and there is plenty to do locally with a golf course swimming pool and St Bee s Priory all within walking distance. You are also just a few miles from the Lake District National Park so this really is a fabulous base for exploring or somewhere just to switch off for a while and get away from it all.
