The house, renovated in 2006, stands just outside the little village of Bernartice, in a wide valley between the Giant Mountains and the Vrani hory. This part of the Giant Mountains is the highest in the Czech Republic, with impressive mountain ridges and extended woods, rugged steep slopes and ice-cold valleys, plateaus, thermal springs, marshlands and mountain meadows with rare plants. The biggest attractions here are the famous tourist towns like Janské Lázn? and Žaclé?, as well as the mountain of Sn?žka, the highest peak in the Czech Republic (1602 m). The holiday house is situated on a quiet road with a view of a hill. The house is surrounded by a 3000 m2 large garden with a furnished terrace and a barbecue. There is a children´s pool (3,66 x 0,91m) in the garden. There is a grocer's shop in Bernartice for your daily groceries. Furthermore, the tourist town of Žaclé? has a wide array of shops and restaurants. The distance to the Polish border is 6 km. This newly built country house lies at the foot of the Giant Mountains, near the city of Liberec. Nova Ves (at Chrastava) is not much more than a small village on a transit road. Therefore, it is an excellent place to enjoy tranquility and freedom. It is situated near a small reservoir which is an ideal place to relax during summer. There is a very small store within walking distance where you can shop for the most important food items: bread, milk and drinks. 15 minutes by car you can reach the larger city of Liberec and the Jested Mountains. Prague is only 90 km away. In and around the house you will find nothing but space. The garden has a large grassy slope with a furnished terrace and along the grounds are a stream and a forrest area. In an open fireplace you can make a campfire. A paddling pool is available on request and payment (40 Euro/reservation).
