This lovely former bridge operator's home is located in a unique spot in Neerpelt. A canal runs behind the house, where many pleasure boats pass by during the season. This is a great place to sit by the water. The home was built in 1935 by the former bridgeman. The home enjoys an ideal location in North Limburg, a paradise for cyclists, set in the middle of an area full of greenery and water yet close to the charming town centre of Neerpelt, where you will find everything you need. This is also a great destination for hikers. A lovely walking and cycling path runs alongside the canal. Nature preserves and many other attractions are just a stone's throw away. The Welvaart marina is located next to the house, as well as several nature parks that are great for hiking and biking. Limburg's well-known network of bicycle routes passes right by the front door. This is one of those rare cases - upon entering your holiday home, you'll feel like you're coming home rather than arriving at your holiday rental. And it isn't hard to see why. The entire house has a lovely, homey feel to it. This is partially due to its heritage - the house was built in 1734 - it has had many functions since then and is now a listed monument. Here you can shop to your heart's content. And you have not shopped enough then you will find 30 km from the beautiful outlet center of Roermond. The house is perfect for hiking and mountain biking. In the booking is a normal use of the utilities included. You will understand that in the event of excessive use of gas, water or electricity, we are forced to charge the extra consumption. The small inn is a spacious accommodation in a former hotel with an ideal location between Maastricht (NL), Aachen (GER) and Liège (BE).
