Bende is part of the city of Durbuy often cited as “the smallest city in the world”. The region is rural with lots of countryside, forest and sign-posted walking routes. The house has a totally independent entrance and a small secure private garden where you can enjoy breakfast or a drink or have a barbecue. Fully renovated in 2015, the cottage opens into a large living room where you can eat, relax in front of the TV in the corner by the stove, or enjoy a long game of billiards or darts with your friends. Two families can stay here very comfortably while still enjoying their privacy. The cottage is located below the road. There is no traffic noise at all in the cottage, and very little in the garden. There's a stream running at the bottom of the garden and at the back there are woods. The owners have a small restaurant on the road. This will not inconvenience you because the cottage is completely separate, and on the contrary, you can come and enjoy a plate of good "homemade" fries when the fancy takes you! Please note, if you are coming with young children, there is no fence preventing access to the river or pond.
