Take a trip to Alton Towers Hansons Auctioneers Uttoxeter Racecourse Castle Donington or enjoy a historical day out exploring the National Trust properties such as Kedleston Sudbury and Calke Abbey. The market town of Ashbourne is within driving distance and with its narrow-cobbled alleys it is something of a haven for antique hunters boasting superb shops as well as a range of good pubs and restaurants also within a short drive is The National Arboretum museum. Chatsworth Estate and Gardens is slightly further afield along the scenic route and the farm shop is a must visit to stock up on local goodies.
