Famed for its annual food festival the town remains a popular foodie destination all year round thanks to its numerous well-regarded eateries many of which specialise in local produce. The town is also home to a good range of shops as well as to Ludlow Castle a medieval fort which dates back more than 900 years Clee Hill is a short drive away from the property which boasts stunning views. On entering this attractive cottage guests will immediately gain a sense of just how much time and love has been put into creating a welcoming holiday home. The open-plan kitchen/diner not only offers a great place to enjoy meals together but is also well-equipped with an electric oven hob microwave fridge larder cupboard drinks cooler and dishwasher plus a beautiful dining table and chairs to seat up to six people. The washing machine freezer and tumble dryer meanwhile can be found in a separate laundry room which is housed in a separate building just next to the cottage. Moving on from the kitchen/diner guests will come to the delightful lounge where they are able to relax in front of the cosy wood burner and catch up on their favourite TV programmes or perhaps enjoy a DVD. This room leads through to a snug which can be used as an additional bedroom for up to two people for parties exceeding four guests. There is also a convenient cloakroom with WC located on the ground floor. This property lies on the Shropshire and Worcestershire border with rolling hills in every direction with simply stunning panoramic views. The village itself remains unspoilt with a lovely church and a great local pub close to excellent walks in the Clee Hills and Wyre Forest. Less than a mile from the cottage on the River Rea you will find some great fishing spots riding stables and a golf course are only 3 miles away. Spend the day exploring the lovely ancient town of Ludlow famous for its medieval architecture and food and drink festivals.The historic market town of Bridgenorth is well worth a visit boasting the oldest and steepest funicular railway in the country ride to the top of the town for an amazing view and with the famous World Heritage Site of Ironbridge close by you will never be short of inspiration. Entering the large entrance hall you will be greeted with a row of traditional coat hooks and a large basket of firewood. Along the hallway climb a few steps to the living area where you can snuggle up by the traditional wood burning stove on the comfy sofa and lose yourself in a good book or watch a movie.
