Cote is a small village close to Bampton for local pubs and shops or for main shopping area you have Witney four miles away. The wonderful city of historical and academic Oxford is about 30 minutes drive Stratford-upon-Avon for a thoroughly Shakespearean experience or Cheltenham for horse racing are accessible within an hour. Being a couple of hours to London or Birmingham with reasonable access to the motorway networks this is a good central location for groups to meet. Coming into the larger of the two properties you will encounter a large entrance hall. Going through you can enjoy the large lounge with ample comfortably seating and a TV/DVD. The large dining room can comfortably seat 8 - or 14 diners with some combining of furniture from the two cottages (the owner asks that everything is returned at the end of your stay). The spacious well-equipped kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher microwave double range oven and hob two fridges and a freezer. Close to the village of Clattercote the property is at the centre of the historic-cultural axis of Oxford Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. Banbury is about six miles away and is a good place for shopping thanks to the Castle Quay Shopping Centre and night entertainment. Other top visitor attractions in the area include Warwick Castle Sulgrave Manor Heritage Motor Museum the Malvern Hills and Blenheim Palace. There are plenty of footpaths in the vicinity so it s a great place for walkers to stay for a short break too. On arrival at the cottage you will notice that it embraces an open-plan layout. The lounge area has ample comfortable seating with a TV. You may be impressed to see that the original fireplace and huge chimney breast has been retained as well as the old bread oven. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge with ice box a dishwasher a washer/ dryer and a microwave. Also on the ground floor there is a comfortable double bedroom.
