  • "Lovely home that is spacious and in a lovely location."

We especially found it helpful that it was located round the corner from a co-op which saved us from unnecessary driving. It is very child friendly place which for us wasn’t needed and sometimes was a bit annoying as it had a parental pin on the TV so we could only watch children films during the day (this was a Christmas/winter break). Also an outside light would have been helpful so we could see where our dog pooed when it got dark. Other than this it was great and we would recommend, and perhaps visit again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our property and are sorry that you were inconvenienced by the TV parental pin. Thank you for making us aware of this. We have also brought a torch for the back door, until we are able to get an outside light fitted. Your comments and suggestions on how to improve the property are appreciated. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back in the future - Tre Lowen. Property Owner

The property

Tre Lowen is a charming property situated in the idyllic fishing village of Port Isaac, Cornwall.

Boasting a stylish interior, contemporary appliances and a rear enclosed garden, this pet-friendly dwelling makes an ideal holiday base for families, friends and couples who fancy a Cornish retreat.

Upon arrival, step into Tre Lowen and be welcomed by a homely atmosphere; get acquainted with the sitting room with a plush velvet sofa, a Smart TV for movie nights and a bay window to admire the views.

For those who need a quiet space to catch up on work or check emails, there’s a study off the lounge which is all set up with monitors so that all you need to do is to plug in your laptops.

Move through to the kitchen/diner, fully equipped with a gas range cooker, full-size fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher, sure to assist with your culinary needs.

You can then head outside to the rear enclosed garden complete with a lawn and patio; the perfect spot to sit back with a glass of wine whilst your pooch roams the enclosed space.

The little ones can find entertainment in the playroom, offering a selection of toys and a Smart TV.

Venture upstairs and become familiar with the bedrooms, with the master offering a king-size bed with en-suite shower, whilst both of the doubles enjoy en-suites, and an adult bunk room with a separate bathroom completes the setup.

Head out the door and explore Port Isaac; stroll along the historic harbour, surrounded by quaint cottages and overlooked by the ruins of a medieval chapel, creating a postcard-perfect setting that feels like a snapshot from a bygone era.

Port Isaac gained fame as the fictional village of Portwenn in the television series ‘Doc Martin’, and the village's distinctive appearance, with its narrow streets and charming architecture, played a starring role alongside the show's characters.

Wander down to the small beach and spend an afternoon watching the fishermen's boats coming into the harbour or take your exploration further as you catch a foot ferry across the Camel Estuary from Rock to the stunning harbour town of Padstow, a true foodie’s paradise.

Whatever your preference, you’re sure to find activities to suit all ages in this stunning part of Cornwall, all which can be enjoyed from Tre Lowen.
