The property

The Hall, a Grade-II listed, stone-built mansion, has been lovingly converted back to its former glory by the current owners, and is the perfect destination for large groups of families or friends wishing to enjoy time together in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

The stone balustrade steps lead to an impressive entrance porch, opening into the Great Hall, where plush sofas, high ornate ceilings and a roaring open fire welcome you to this very special luxury holiday home.

To the right of the entrance hall is a magnificent dining room with Italian open fireplace, views over the lake and gardens, and a table which comfortably seats 24 guests.

To the left, a beautiful, hand-carved oak staircase leads to the first floor.

There, you will find an assortment of sumptuous seating areas to either nestle down with a book, or gather together and exchange tales of the day’s activities; choose from the gallery snug, the ground-floor light and airy orangery or the sumptuous formal drawing room, which has its own adjacent small, well-equipped kitchen.

From the ground floor, the staircase leads up to seven spacious king-size bedrooms with panoramic views and en-suites, a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom, and two twin rooms with en-suite facilities, plus four handy day beds can also be used within these rooms.

On the ground floor is an additional sitting area, the perfect spot for rainy days, as well as a superbly-equipped kitchen, offering everything you could need for a social gathering; catering is fully flexible, either self-cater or contact the owners who can organise staff to cater for your every need.

If you prefer to bask in your surroundings a little while longer, French doors from the orangery lead to a terrace, tailor-made for sunny days relaxing and sipping something bubbly.

Or for the more adventurous, stick on a pair of wellies and explore the glorious grounds, with woodland walks and boating lakes for all to enjoy.

If you can tear yourself away, there is plenty to see and do on your doorstep; the whole of the Heritage Coast is tantalisingly close, with castles and beaches galore.

This truly is a very special Belford holiday home for that long-awaited Northumberland break.

Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 1140824, 1140825 and 1140827, together sleeping 38 guests.
