• "An absolutely fantastic property!"

  ! The photos don't do it enough justice. The Barn is furnished to an incredible standard and we felt like we were staying in a hotel. Our children and the grown ups really enjoyed the games room which is an excellent 'unique' addition to the property. Wonderful friendly hosts who were there if needed. • "This is a lovely luxury barn conversion equipped and furnished to a very high standard."

  The beds are especially comfortable and in line with the feel of luxury evident throughout this property. The games/ pool room downstairs is a wonderful asset with an extremely large wall mounted tv and generous leather settees making it an ideal space to gather and have fun. The rear garden space is safe and totally enclosed for those little ones or as in our case an inquisitive dog. A lovely view across the fields is a bonus too. We were aware of some building work being carried out on site. This was not an issue and we were not disturbed by it all. The owners Jayne and Mark are on site and proved to be most approachable, friendly and helpful. Just on a practical point, it would be useful for a facility to hang outdoor coats, with boot trays beneath to be fitted downstairs perhaps in the passage leading to the toilet, which would help in keeping this lovely property tidy.

• "The barn was beautifully laid out and extremely clean."

  The beds were so comfy. The hosts were nearby if we needed anything and kept me informed of the building work taking place next door. There was very little noise and as the bungalow looks out to the fields we couldn’t see the work being done. We had a wonderful week and will definitely book again.

• "I have been to quite a few of these stays and I've got to say thus has been the best one."

  The house is absolutely immaculate. The pool table is perfectly maintained (no holes on cloth) and really decent pool cues. The beds are so comfortable you want to sleep in them forever and the whole house feels so cosy. As me and my friends are big gamers it was a great relief that the Internet was very very fast and able to deal with what ever we threw at it. Amazing place and we are booking again shortly.

• "Fantastic stay!"

  The Barn was spotless, very well equipped and the host was lovely and accommodating. Great location and only a short drive away from a number of locations for days out with the family. We’ll definitely be coming back! Only one suggestion would be a coat hanger in the utility room or somewhere to hang coats.

• "We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn and we’ll definitely be planning a return trip!"

  It was perfect for our group of 4 adults, a 6yr old and a dog. The accommodation layout worked perfectly for us, and is so spacious and comfortable- and the games room was such a luxury to have! It’s really clear the owners have gone to a lot of effort to make The Barn such a high quality experience for guests. The Barn is in a really ideal location and there is a lot to do in the local area and further afield- highlights for the grown ups were The Hollies Farm Shop and Tarporley, whilst our 6yr old adored Bewilderwood and Snugburys (and we all loved the Gruffalo trail at Delamere Forest!). Jane and Mark, the owners, are also so friendly and helpful. Overall we’ve all had a brilliant few days away and can’t wait to return to carry on exploring!

• "Superb property, the description was absolutely spot on."

  I would advise anybody to consider this property. The owners were accessible & accommodated our requests prior to arrival. It was a perfect place to celebrate my Mums 80th birthday.
