  • "Lodge was clean and comfortable in great location and welcome hamper with bread and biscuits and milk in fridge a lovely touch - thanks!"

I was a bit surprised to find underwear and clothing items in one of the bedside draws which meant I couldn’t use it. Also lots of food items in cupboards which I’m presuming is owner’s personal items? As we arrived in the dark we drove past the lodge the first time as lighting on the park not great and we had to get out of car to check numbers on lodges with a torch, also instructions of where the key store box is located would have been good as missed it first time and again had to use torch on phone to see numbers. There was no internet provided or any information about it so we used hotspot on phone for Netflix. Also email received at end of stay from Sykes telling us to follow check out info provided when leaving lodge but none provided I.e leave towels in bathrooms/strip beds/dispose of rubbish in bin areas! None of this takes away the great stay we had in the lodge, the comfort and location all good and the advertised pictures are spot on. The shower in the en-suite is the best I’ve experienced in a lodge very roomy and powerful. Would recommend and would consider staying again.

  • "The Lodge was well equipped, cosy, warm and comfortable."

Had everything you needed. Will definitely be going back. Christmas decorations were fab. Thank you for the hamper, only thing was we couldn't work out how to use the coffee machine

  • "We had a great week at the lodge, well equipped and comfortable."

The only downside was the grubbiness of the two sofas in the living area. Apart from that the lodge was a lovely place to stay.

  • "Very comfortable and spacious Lodge with very well equipped kitchen."

Nice to have the 2 double bedrooms and bathroom and a really big shower. Lovely position on the site with private parking and generous gated decking area with bbq and plenty of seating. Lots of cleaning products provided and a hoover and mop for the floors.. The lodge was well maintained and very clean but the sofas would benefit from the upholstery cleaning An outside light to the rear steps on the side decking would be helpful too as there is not much street lighting on park but a torch did the job easily. A couple of the lights are out too in the caravan and one of the lamps didn’t work. Electrician husband is a bit obsessed with lighting! It would be helpful if you mention that a welcome pack is provided as we had called at the shop and bought milk, bread and eggs for breakfast next day which were provided and a lovely touch.

  • "This is a spacious and well equipped lodge, comfortable with a pleasant view."

We had a small issue with acquiring an Internet connection but found using my mobile phone "Hotspot" feature gave the best signal for TV connection. Would definitely stay here again.
