  • "The Dairy is a lovely holiday let set in very peaceful surroundings."

The property was clean and very tidy and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful people and we were both made to feel very welcome. It was a very nice touch to find a complimentary bottle of wine, some milk and tea bags in the kitchen when we arrived. Much appreciated ! We will definitely stay at the Dairy again.

  • "My stay at The Dairy was everything I had hoped it would be."

The hosts of this small, family run business were so welcoming and friendly, and the property itself was exactly as shown in the photos......characterful and pretty, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with the addition of a lovely, secure patio area that was dog safe too. There were thoughtful additions of milk, a bottle of wine, a bowl of fruit and some tasty bakes, and the property was was fitted out with all anyone could need for either a short or long stay. Set on the edge of a tiny village, but by no means remote, i found it a perfect place to stay and to relax, and I'll definitey be returning. I would highly recommend the Dairy to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable base for visiting the area.

  • "A fantastic find."

We’ve returned from a great stay at this wonderful gem of a property. Well equipped and a real home from home. The owners of this property went over and above to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. We have stayed at many Sykes properties and can honestly say that Pete and his partner Kim and daughter Sophie-Jane should be awarded for their hard work.

Stocked with the little things that you don't expect but make your stay so much better. Kim and Peter were gracious and welcoming hosts, very friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely setting and Gillian made friends with Bjorn and Ned (the resident donkeys). Would definitely stay again.
