  • "Just spent a week in this fabulous spacious apartment."

Everything was spot on from the decor, facilities and the location. Every detail has been thought of which made our stay very enjoyable. Situated in a perfect location for exploring or just relaxing in the grand sunroom with its stunning views. An added bonus to have such great accommodation which is also dog friendly. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Thank you for such a lovely review. So glad you enjoyed the apartment and welcome you back and recommendations are of course welcome. Hope to see you back soon. Steve and Mandy. Property Owner

  • "The Pines, Bournemouth is a spacious first floor apartment tastefully decorated and attractively furnished, with well equipped kitchen."

It is beautifully situated at the end of a close, and with a gallery looking out to the sea. The close opens onto a strip of parkland and a path leading directly to the sandy beach below. A lift can be taken back up from the beach. There is a good range of restaurants close by, and the pier is just a few minutes walk away. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

  • "Very nice and well situated appartment."

Dishwasher would be nice. There was no curtain for the bedroom door/window. That’s not nice because that wakes you up as the sun comes up. Maybe it’s more clear which parking space to use by taking a picture or a drawing since it wasn’t clear for us which one we could use. The dishes/mugs/glasses and cutlery weren’t cleaned properly. Sounds a bit negative but these are tips to improve. All in all we had a very pleasant stay!

Thank you very much for your feedback for the Pines. Regarding your comments about the dishwasher and blinds for the windows this is certainly something we will look into for future guests. All our guests are emailed before their stay with a comprehensive list of directions and parking instructions for the Pines, as well as a guide for the local area including places to visit and restaurant recommendations. • "Stunning, elegant flat!"

Beautifully decorated and furnished, with loads of character. Was reluctant to leave. Miss the garden room with great view, the dressing room and beautiful living room. Quick response from owners to a query. Boys enjoyed the lift! Thanks for great stay, Jane

  • "Hi Steve and Mandy."

We had a super time at The Pines. The apartment was great, much larger than we expected. And the location was fantastic. Ideal for the city and exploring the coastline to the west. We loved the art deco touches and the views and the cooler air on the balcony. We had fantastic weather and it was lovely to walk along the greensward in front of the apartment through the chines (a new word for us) or to sit on the clifftop seats overlooking the bay. Neither of us had been to Bournemouth before and we enjoyed the Russell Cotes museum immensely. We also liked the garden in the centre of the city which snakes up from the coast. Everything was in bloom and looking lovely. We felt that Bournemouth was an attractive place and seemed to be managing better in these difficult economic times than others we’ve seen. Though I confess we didn’t explore east of the centre at all. We also explored Poole Harbour and the Studland peninsula by land and sea ! And enjoyed a decadent lunch in The Pig. Friends joined us for one night and we had a pleasant evening together. All in all the holiday completely exceeded our expectations. I even became an expert at parking on the hill before we left. Your neighbours were helpful to us too. So thank you both for a wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment. I’d strongly recommend a week there. All the very best, Mary and Peter PS Sorry about the keys falling through the lift shaft. I hope you managed to retrieve them.
