  • "We had a lovely stay lots to do in the area."

Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. My only issue was that 3 young guys came on the Monday to do the garden they opened the back gate and our dogs were in the garden. We hadn't been notified they would be coming. Also we put the bin out on Thursday as stated in the welcome book but it didn't get emptied. Apart from this which are minor things everything else was great.

Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. I apologise for the gardeners, they are a recent engagement and this was their visit. I have now asked the gardeners to ensure they knock and make themselve known to guests. I have asked the property manager to check the bin collection schedule with the council as it does change at certain times of the year. Property Owner

Our only slight issue was that the temperature on the shower seemed to be very temperamental. Otherwise myself , Shirin and the dogs Buster and Shirley enjoyed our stay very much

  • "Nice bungalow - all the facilities we needed."

Blessed with good weather we spent our time at the bungalow predominantly in the conservatory and sitting outside which was great. Fully enclosed garden was good for our labrador. Couldn't get wifi but we were warned reception was not good. Would recommend to others.

Thank you for your feedback, we would very much liked to have had to opportunity to discuss this with you and resolve any issues that have been raised but we were not made aware of any during your stay. • "When we first saw the House, we were happy."

But on closer inspection there were a few anomalies. The furniture was nice and comfy, but the cleaning was poor and things inside seemed cheap and without care. The garden was particularly awful and had not had any care given to it, in fact we felt so bad, we even got the hose out and watered the plants which some were already dead or dying. Even the lawn was in need of maintenance. The first thing we noticed inside the house was a dirty Oven Glove which my wife washed immediately, then discovered the oven was dirty with burnt on grease. Everything else had a cheap feel to it, the cutlery didn't match. There was no "Welcome Pack" or message and no visitors book, I think we know why! The TV was awful and programs very sketchy, allowing that it was "Free View! We did get Netflix to work eventually, but £30 or £40 to an aerial company would be a good investment. I personally do not like Memory Foam beds, especially in the temperatures we had during our stay, but the very cheap and extremely low beds in the second bedroom were as stated OK for a 'very' small child perhaps but not for adults. Overall I would have to say, "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

About the location

DERSINGHAM

Royal Sandringham 1.5 miles; Snettisham 3.0 miles; Hunstanton 7.6 miles.

Dersingham is one of the largest villages in the Borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. It is situated on the outskirts of the Royal Sandringham Estate with its impressive house, church and gardens which are open to the public, plus nearby are the plant farm, tea rooms and gift shop at Norfolk Lavender, England's premier lavender farm. Dersingham has many local amenities and is served by a Post Office, two supermarkets, a butcher’s shop, newsagents and takeaway outlets. The traditional Norfolk village of Snettisham is nearby characterized by the pretty golden brown houses known locally as "gingerbread houses" due to the colouring of the local iron-rich carr stone used in their construction. The RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell are within easy reach as is the North Norfolk Coast including the family-friendly seaside resort of Hunstanton, well worth a visit.
