  • "Enjoyable stay, made by family time in a picturesque small town - I'd describe the acommodation as satisfactory?"

You got the sense of a property run by a management company? Feedback from our stay?: 1]Disappointingly small compared to wide angle photos 2]STILL not addressed accurate location info. - We had to ask - The What3words location is somewhere in Oxfordshire? 3]STILL no lock on the family bathroom 4]Happy to clean up, but need adequate tools. You need to provide some green scourers as well as cloths?

  • "Cottage very comfortable."

Everything we needed. Very close to town for eating. but still quiet. Well situated for everything we wanted to do had a lovely week will definitely be back

  • "The directions to find the cottage and signage could be more helpful, there are no signs for 'Croft Cottages' and next door is no."

1 Coombs Rd. Also tablemats would be useful. Otherwise this is a lovely cottage in a great location for visiting Bakewell. We visited at the end of November and there were lots of Xmas activities on in the town. A convenient bus ride took us right into Chatsworth House too, which is lovely. We would love to come back again thankyou.

  • "Most enjoyable stay."

Lovely cottage which was presented at a very high standard. The small town setting was very picturesque and it all made for a lovely holiday.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay, and would return if going back to Bakewell."

Overall the property was comfortable and well appointed. The only issue was the drainage to the shower in the twin room en-suite, which was extremely slow.

  • "Beautiful cottage."

Very clean. Well kept. Location brilliant. Thoughtful to provide tea, sugar, dishwasher tabs, and kitchen well appointed. Could do with instructions for microwave. Garden sitting areas could be wonderful if cleaned, swept and maintained, however were unkempt and scruffy. Beds much too hard for all six of us unfortunately which spoilt the holiday. Sofas whilst look lovely, are ok, but seats are sagging a bit, as are dining chairs. Stairs steep and narrow for elderly, which needs pointing out before booking. Table mats and coasters would be good, as table is marked. This isn't a negative review at all, just useful advice. If the bed mattresses were changed, we would definitely stay again, as we loved the cottage. Thank you

  • "Signage outside the cottage is nonexistent so it is difficult to find."

The shower in the main bathroom is faulty making a noise so loud it must have been heard by the other cottages and the shower head actually fell onto one of our partie’s head. Whilst the cottage itself was very clean the glasses had to be washed before use. No welcome pack was a disappointment and unusual today.
