  • "A great place to stay, location good for town and exploring further."

Just remember that the flat IS above a shop, and the staff do greet each other enthusiastically very early in the morning! (The owners of the flat don't try to hide this fact, the photos make this very clear.) The flat itself was comfortable and had plenty of space. In the town we ate at the Olde Ship Inn and the Italian restaurant. Both very good. Fish and chips from the smallest fish and chip shop also good. Warm welcome from the Methodist Church at the Sunday service.

  • "Very pleasant stay."

The little flat was clean and comfortable. The owner was nicely proactive in contact. Some nice touches of tea, coffee, etc for arrival. There are no views from the windows, but the large and beautiful wall photographs make up for this. It's only a short stroll to the centre of Seahouses and then to the harbour. As suggested, the flat is over the, very fine, butchers shop, and a bit of noise can therefore be expected first thing.

  • "This property was just what we needed for our short break, great location and useful that there is a parking space allocated."

The open plan kitchen living room was really well designed and we felt comfortable. The only thing I would feedback was the quilts were extremely thick for summer months and we got a bit warm in bed. Overall a great holiday let

  • "A lovely little flat very close to the town centre and the seafront."

Not suitable for those with mobility problems but that wasn't a concern for my wife and I. The owner was very good at initiating and maintaining contact and was keen to hear any suggestions of how to improve the listing. If we ever go back to Seahouses the Butcher's Flat would be our first enquiry for accommodation.

  • "A lovely clean flat, comfortable and minor issue dealt with quickly."

Would definitely return again if we go back to the area. Dog friendly, I liked the thought of leaving treats and dog bowls. My pathetic dog didn’t like the stairs up as there were gaps in! She got used to them though.
