The property

Situated at the heart of Bodmin, Cornwall, lies this delightful, three-bedroom holiday home, 1 Riding Close.

With great positioning to nearby amenities and well-thought-out living spaces, this charming property is ideal for families seeking a relaxing, self-catered Cornish getaway.

Inside, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen/diner, where the designated chef can prepare tasty, home-cooked meals to be enjoyed at the dining table or in the sitting room where the whole family can watch a film or two on the Smart TV.

As the evening draws to a close, treat yourself to an indulgent, rejuvenating bath before retreating to one of three, well-presented bedrooms, including a plush king-size where you can rest and recover after a long, fun-filled day.

If you want to acquaint yourself with your local area, stock up on supplies at the nearby Spar, settle down for a pint at the Hole In The Wall, or book a table at Flory Restaurant and Café, if you fancy taking a break from your culinary duties.

Make the short car journey to Lostwithiel, where the serene grounds of Madderly Moor and Coulson Park await those seeking a peaceful day out in nature, whilst the National Trust landmark of Lanhydrock rests just north of the village.

The town of St. Austell is also a brief drive away, where visitors can locate the attractions of the Historic Port of Charlestown and the St Austell Brewery Visitor Centre, as well as the St Austell golf club for those looking to improve their short game.

Padstow is slightly further afield, but worth visiting, as it houses the Padstow Museum, the quirky National Lobster Hatchery, along with the Padstow Sealife Safaris, a local company offering sea wildlife-watching boat tours.

Enjoy a trip with the family to remember by booking 1 Riding Close.

About the location

BODMIN

Lostwithiel 6 miles; St. Austell 13 miles; Padstow 16 miles; Newquay 21 miles.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out. Also within easy reach and ideal for a fun-filled day out, guests can visit Lanhydrock House, the small town of Fowey and Charlestown with its Tall Ships, The Eden Project and Lostwithiel.
