  • "Was really impressed with the property."

Had a few issues with the TV would have been nice to see local news and weather in the morning. We took 1 dog and Mevagissey was really busy with dogs so nervous ones beware. But the walks are tough but worth it. I would stay here again it is lovely. Thank you for the nice touches.

  • "Beautiful well equipped apartment in a perfect location."

Everything you need on the doorstep. Shops, pubs, & most restaurants are very dog friendly Only issue we had was noise at night. There’s a members only bar just opposite that close at midnight & the noise when people are leaving was bad. Lots of shouting & people hanging around outside until 1am every night we were there. We had windows open due to the heatwave which probably didn’t help. Other than that a very enjoyable holiday amongst very friendly people.

  • "A lovely apartment in a great location for visiting local attractions in the area, restaurants and pubs."

Apartment recently renovated to a high standard so in great condition and well equipped. Nice touches of welcome milk, wine, biscuits left plus dishwasher and washing machine tablets on arrival. As explained in the description it’s located in centre of village with no parking so we dropped off luggage at the square as recommended and then parked in the main carpark as you enter the village paid £45 for the week. Very narrow streets so not brave enough to drive through village! Quite noisy with traffic and people in the day but night timenot too bad. Lots of great restaurants and takeaways in Mevagissey. We loved the Alvorada, The Ship, The WheelHouse and the Sharksfin. Recommend booking in advance as hard to get a table just dropping in peak season. We also bought food from the takeaway vans selling locally sourced fish. Lovely costal walks both directions with seal spotting opportunities. Close to Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden project which we really enjoyed. Nearest supermarkets in St Austel Asda and Tesco about 20 min drive. Local newsagent /stores has all the basics though Overall a great apartment and location to stay and would recommend.

  • "This lovely apartment is immaculate."

Very clean when we arrived. Nice little touches of biscuits, wine, milk, soap. Really appreciated. In a great location with plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. The only problem we had - and I'm afraid it was a big one - is that the 2 sofas were tiny. Miniature in fact. We were 4 adults and there is no way one person could get comfy on the sofa, let alone 2. If we wanted to just enjoy a cuppa after a day out, we ventured to the shops to sit somewhere nice. A real shame.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Absolutely spotless accommodation and central location was perfect for us. No parking at Quay view but could unload near. Parking in the main car park and could get a weekly ticket. Mevagissey is such a lovely place with plenty of places to eat and drink, array of shops and the people were so friendly. We will be back!

  • "Quay View is finished to a high standard, very comfortable and clean."

It has everything you need not to mention a great shower! We enjoyed the location which is a short stroll from the harbour, pubs, restaurants and shops. We had some amazing coastal walks and fabulous food in the local eateries. We couldn't find any information on where to leave the recycling/rubbish - apologies if we missed it. We had fabulous weather but, had it been wet, coat hooks/boot rack downstairs would have been useful. A few hooks in the bathroom would also be a good addition for towels/robes. We fully recommend Quay View.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We have noted your comments about rubbish, recycling and coat hooks and we are adding those facilities. We are very glad to know you enjoyed your stay, Mevagissey has so much to offer. Mark and Melanie Property Owner
