Perfectly furnished, equipped and decorated for a holiday let. South facing. And parking!! We’ll be back. Thank you. One point to bring to your attention is the info pack its well out of date with Salcombe info. especially for visitors new to Salcombe Eg No ref. to CO OP and much more.

  • "The apartment was delightful."

Very well appointed with no expense spared, from the Bosch appliances, well provisioned cutlery, plates and cooking equipment to the Ercol chairs, Alexa's, wonderful artwork and very comfortable beds. Sitting in the apartment or on the balcony was a delight, hearing eh gentle lap of the sea or swimming in the warm pool, the whole experience was a joy. So much so, we have booked already for next year. One slight criticism. The patio furniture, although practical, is not very comfortable to lounge on. We had brought fold up chairs so it wasn't a huge problem. Thank you very much for allowing us to experience the joys of Salcombe.

  • "Everything was exactly as described and exceeded expectations with how much room their was."

Cooking utensils in the kitchen were perfect, good sharp knives, which are rare in rental properties. Very clean, lovely bedding. Pool is lovely. So convenient being a few minutes walk to the sea and the winking prawn. Our second trip to at Elmo court and will definitely be back. Many thanks.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed your holiday and you were able to make full use of the apartment, the pool, and being so close to the beach. Thank you for your comments about the kitchen equipment. We are so pleased that you found everything to your satisfaction. We very much look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely week at St Elmo Court - we have been staying here for many years as my father lives nearby."

We have not stayed in flat 14 before, but found it to be spacious, clean and very nicely furnished. We enjoyed the front and back patio’s - the larger rear being perfect for family dinners for 6. This was a pleasant surprise as we were not anticipating having this space. Check in communication and key collection process was seamless. Thank you. It is, as usual, frustrating to have to purchase basic necessities such as salt and pepper, paper towel, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets for a 1 week stay. Providing a little more of these items would be greatly appreciated. This is a general frustration that I have noticed with all Salcombe rental accommodation and has nothing to do with the cleanliness or condition of 14 St Elmo Court. It would also be helpful to have more of the different types of rubbish bags and clearer recycling instructions. A couple of items for Flat 14. It would be nice to have a microwave, and the lower oven did not work.

It is lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you were able to make full use of the space, both inside and outside the apartment. It is wonderful having dinner on the back patio with friends and family and we are so pleased that you were able to do this. Thank you for your comments about the cooker. The microwave is integrated in the top oven and the use instructions for this, and the bottom oven are in the Guest Information folder together with other appliance details. We apologise if this was not to hand and we will ensure that this is clearer in the future. We also appreciate your feedback about the consumable items. We are always keen to look into ways that we can enhance Guests' holidays and we are grateful for your comments. We look forward to welcoming you back to the apartment. Property Owner

  • "The property was first class every thing in the property was very nice."

The things we were not happy with were the lack of direction to collect the keys Sykes info you should find somewhere adjacent to the property, infact there are three blocks of apartments and the keys just happened to be in a white building were to dumped your rubbish .We walked around looking for a place to find the keys, luckily a young lady we met outside said she thought they may be in the white block. Having found the keys we walked up to the third block were we were staying and walked TWENTY SIX steps to the front door .We had been travelling for seven hours to find a few steps were twenty six wasn't very good plus we would have to walk 52 steps every time we left the building.I haven't got the inclination to go down the avenue of the pool other to mention another twelve steps with the safety rail covered in ivy and roses bushes. The rubbish seating and a pool covered up half the holiday. You even had the nerve to leave me instructions on removing the cover.I was a paying guest at £1000 pound a week there must be a property management company who should deal with these mundane matters. There a number of other maters including finding the whereabouts of find shopping and eating out these were virtually non excistant without using the car.As pensioners you takeyour life in your hands walking backwards and forwards to the winking prawn .l under stand you are somewhat of the beaten track but if all the correct information had been provided I question weather we would have booked this marvellous accommodation.

  • "This apartment is absolutely beautiful with a view to match."

Very clean and spacious. Fabulous decor. Fab showers/bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen ( although do take care when using the knives very very sharp) comfy beds/pillows, lots of storage with hangers mirrors, outside patio and balcony, games magazines, everything needed for a relaxing enjoyable holiday. Plus safe parking on site..we hardly used the car. Just a minute from North Sands.10 minute easy walk to Salcombe maybe a little longer depending on how long you admire the view! and about 10 minutes to South Sands. Kingsbridge for shopping and the seven star pub fab meals not forgetting the Winking Prawn at North Sands. We had an amazing time could of stayed for ever just sitting on the balcony! Pity the pool wasn't open but we will be back later when it is. The whole complex is well maintained in beautiful gardens. We had a fabulous stay and carnt wait to return. Thank you...

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased that you liked the apartment and had a fabulous holiday. We look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

  • "This is a well appointed apartment just a stone's throw from North Sands beach in the beautiful seaside town of Salcombe and right by the sensational South West coastal path."

The only criticism is that a) the welcome pack is meagre to say the least (the most inadequate we've come across) and b) the instructions on departure are authoritarian in tone... a few more 'it would be appreciated' or 'if you would be so good to' or even just 'please' would be appreciated. Some common politeness was missing.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are thrilled you liked the property and its beautiful surroundings. We will certainly take some time to review our notices and can only apologise if you found them to be impolite. We do hope you enjoyed all the area has to offer and that we can welcome you back to Salcombe soon. Property Owner
