  • "The studio and location were lovely but there is no way near enough ventilation in the bedroom and it was so hot it was impossible to sleep, even in temperatures of just 23/24 degrees."

Only because the temperature dropped after our first day to 18 degrees were we able to sleep. The hob would only work on the highest setting. The plug didn't work in the bathroom, there was no egg slice for frying eggs and the TV kept buffering, ie poor reception. It would have been preferable to have a toaster and microwave. The lounge area was cluttered with too many bean bags and there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels on and nowhere to hang clothes anywhere else. WiFi connection was very limited. There was no hand towel in the bathroom and no bathmat so floor got wet when using the shower and slippery. Shower water did not drain well. However, Hungerford Park is lovely and we saw lot of wildlife and the surrounding area was lovely too.

  • "A nice quiet location, however in nice weather the bedroom becomes unpleasantly hot, thankfully fans are provided to make it slightly more bearable."

  • "Very hot weather when we stayed at the Studio and could only open one window."

Very basic facilities..no toaster or kettle( did have tap with boiling water) not my thing find it dangerous!! Quite rough and ready accommodation but very quirky!! Lovely countryside location suited us with our dog.

  • "There was so much to love about the studio, the position, the decoration, good bathroom and kitchen."

But the soap pump in bathroom was empty, we were given two lovely fluffy white bath sheets but no hand towels. In the kitchen, we were left three manky kitchen sponges ( why not just leave one new one). There was no freezer compartment in fridge and literally not one hook in fact anything to hang up any clothes at all. The lounge area was too cluttered for two people, far too much seating, why there were four bean bags as well as a settee and two chairs I am not sure. Somewhere to hang coats and clothes would be great in fact it should be a must. I know this sounds a negative review but we did enjoy our stay and if we were to revisit we would come prepared but hopefully they would sort these minor things out by then.

  • "Wifi very poor meaning smart TV constantly froze every night."

No toaster, microwave, iron, clothes line, ice box in fridge, dishwasher, washing machine or outdoor seating area. Nowhere to hang or store clothes which meant uncomfortable stay. We arrived to a badly leaking shower, used soap, an empty soap dispenser and used kitchen cloths which was revolting.

  • "A very good central base for exploring the North West Downs AONB: a useful website for information is www."

Northwessexdowns.org.uk. Highlights for us were Ashdown House and the Uffington White Horse to the north; the Marlborough, Avebury and Pewsey area to the west; and some lovely unspoiled countryside to the south. An added bonus was a half hour dog walk through woodland and parkland at Hungerford Park itself.

  • "The Studio was well placed for our needs visiting relatives in the area."

The view from the window was very pleasant being spring time and the bathroom was high spec ( although I felt the water was dangerously hot!) Our main concern was the heating of the boiling water tap, which was very noisy, especially as it continued throughout the night every half hour. I really didn’t sleep well with this continual disturbance. Also there was so little room to manoeuvre around the bed, we kept hitting our heads in the ceiling. So no I don’t think we’ll be returning to this particular venue.

  • "Fantastic. We had a problem with the shower - we contacted the owner and it was sorted out within hours."

No complaints at all. Wonderful cottage; just as described. Will be recommending this to our family and friends.
