  • "We were confused over towels as when I booked it listed linen and towels were provided"

Hi Jan, I hope you enjoyed the caravan and its lovely location like we do. We only provide bed linen and not towels, in the sykes listing it says only bed linen provided in the rent, sorry for any confusion. Our van is a self catering van. Kind regards Francesca Property Owner

  • "On arrival we were upset to find no loo paper, no towels nor tea towel, no dishcloth, no kitchen roll, no washing-up brush, no bedside lamps, no milk, no clock, no chairs for outside, no books, no dvd player or dvds, no tea tray."

The cupboards were largely empty, just a large dirty Pyrex dish and a few oversized pans. The broom and scissors were broken and unusable. No information was provided about anything (except last year’s Panto!) We feel totally let down by Sykes this time as we very much enjoyed a previous holiday with them at East Harling. We have booked a further holiday at East Harling, but feel we must avoid using or recommending Sykes in future.

Hi there, Im not sure where you booked or if direct through sykes but everything on the listing is correct and accurate as i have provided all of the details and it is a self catering caravan so anything not listed is not there which should then not be a surprise to guests when they arrive - we only provide the bed linen and everything else is brought along by yourselfs. At the main reception at manor park there is lots of stands full of information and leaflets providing info on what is around the local area & about what is on in the clubhouse as this changes regularly so is always best to get the latest info first hand from there :) There is magazines under the coffee table, we have left books before but get taken. I will take on board about a dvd player and as it’s near the end of season some of the pots and pans will get replaced. Ive also purchased more glasses, and replaced the broken scissors and broom that has been broken as I'm now made aware of this. The cupboards are stocked with plates, wine glasses, kids cups, cutlery and cooking utensils. I will leave an info book for the future for guests how the caravan should be left and looked after and making sure things are washed and cleaned after use. Kind regards Property Owner

  • "Property in a very good location to beach, fun fair and large Tesco."

.Unfortunately for us the caravan was not very clean on arrival but the owner is aware of the situation and is looking in to it.

Thank you for the feedback on your stay were glad you enjoyed your holiday and you liked the caravan and its location :) As mentioned in the messages without any photo evidence of how you turned up at the caravan it is difficult when telling the cleaning team (but did report back) - this was only mentioned to me at the end of the holiday, so there was no opportunity to try to resolve at the time on arrival if this was brought to my attention i could of called the cleaner to come round and check & sort for you and dealt with at the time to have hopefully made things better for you and your experience. Kind regards. Property Owner

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination. The seafront with promenade offers rock and candyfloss stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowls, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides and sea tours in an amphibious craft. On Sunday afternoons a band often plays in the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while throughout the year additional events are held within the town. Walking along the beach towards Old Hunstanton you find the richly-coloured cliff faces with intriguing rock pools. The beach at Old Hunstanton is popular with sunbathers, and also with wind and kite surfers. Within a 20-mile radius there is a large number of places of interest including NT properties, market towns and flint villages, offering something for all family members.
