  • "Very comfortable stay would highly recommend to anyone."

Just one fault though there was mould in the bedroom next to the shower room. Other than that very nice indeed.

The property is my pride and joy so I'm very pleased you liked it and would recommend it. I really appreciate you taking the time to review and flag the issue as we were previously unaware of it. This will be remedied as swiftly as possible. I hope you will stay with us again another year. Property Owner

New for Summer 2023!

The idyllic community of Crackington Haven on the North Cornwall coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is where this charming, detached house is situated.

A warm-hearted escape in Cornwall, Oaklea welcomes families or groups of six for a seaside getaway with a gorgeous, gently-sloping beach perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and watching the surfers just over a mile away.

The community has outstanding amenities, including two cafes near the beach and a top-notch tavern.

A neighbourhood store that provides fresh food, including hot Cornish pasties and other necessities is located near the property.

This truly is the spot for a superb holiday by the sea any time of year, with so many of the region's wonderful beaches and coastal villages close to the famous seaside town of Bude only eight miles away.

A delightful mood is created by the lounge's two sofas, which are positioned to enjoy views of the front of the apartment or to utilise the widescreen TV with accompanying Fire Stick.

The property has been thoroughly renovated with quality in mind.

So after a day of touring the beach, take off your shoes and unwind.

Via double doors, the designated chef may enter the kitchen/diner and start cooking one of their favourite home-cooked meals while using the electric oven, ceramic stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher to clean up.

Whilst the food is being prepared, unwind and converse while sipping something from the breakfast bar.

A patio and covered, south-facing rear garden are accessible through sliding patio doors, making them ideal locations for alfresco eating and soaking up the final rays of the day while sipping a beverage.

The bedrooms with blackout curtains are located inside and consist of a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom.

The bedrooms are conveniently near to a bathroom and a separate shower area, giving you the option of how you wish to freshen yourself.

Also, Crackington Haven has breathtaking sunsets across the water, so unwind, enjoy a beverage, and savour every second.

At Oaklea, you can observe the stars at night because there is no light pollution at all, which makes stargazing more enjoyable.

Why not take advantage of the breathtaking coastline views by walking along the neighbouring South West Coast Path?

You can take a hike up High Cliff, Cornwall's highest cliff, to Pencarrow Point in the north or towards Cambeak in the south of the beach.

Enjoy magnificent treks and breathtaking views in all directions.

You can participate in a variety of water sports in Bude, such as surfing (boards are available for rent, and instruction are offered), stand-up paddle boarding, and kayaking.

Also, you can test the waters at Bude Sea Pool, a tidal pool on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean that is semi-natural and ideal for wild swimming.

There are numerous surf stores, independent shops, cafes, and restaurants in Bude town.

Widemouth Bay and Trebarwith Strand's sandy beaches are both accessible by car.

Just six miles away is the quaint beach community of Boscastle, which offers a number of restaurants near to the harbour as well as a number of gift shops where you may buy things to bring home.

The National Trust café and shop, as well as the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, are located in the village.

At the nearby Tintagel Castle, made famous by the stories of King Arthur and Merlin, you may immerse yourself in history, enchanted myths, and breathtaking nature.

The village, which surrounds a rocky peninsula off the coast of North Cornwall, is steeped in a romantic past that fascinates visitors with myth and mystery.

From Wadebridge and beyond, the Camel Way offers breathtaking scenery for cyclists and walkers.

For avid bikers, Bude is also a convenient starting point for the Cornish Way and West Country Way cycling routes.

Fans of TV's Doc Martin can take a stroll around the Portwenn filming settings and enjoy the quaint small fishing village and its winding, narrow alleyways that take you on a historical tour past white-washed houses and down to the evocative harbourfront because Port Isaac is nearby.

Other Cornish attractions can be found a little further away, including Bodmin Moor (10 miles away), Lanhydrock House and Gardens (National Trust), Padstow (28 miles), the Eden Project (30 miles), Newquay (36 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (38 miles).
