Situated on the fringes of the traditional village of Bream this property rumoured to be the oldest house in Bream and dating back to 1475 is an ideal base for exploring the Royal Forest of Dean. An excellent choice for the adventurous the local area offers a wealth of footpaths and cycle routes as well as caving abseiling canoeing and even high wire rope courses. Nearby are Clearwell with its ancient caves and St Briavels with its castle as well as Dean Heritage Centre and Dean Forest Steam Railway. A short drive will bring you to the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye where you will find a wealth of shops cafes and pubs.
