This property enjoys a fantastic position just a few minutes walk from all the amenities of Wells-next-the-Sea and yet backing onto open fields across which glimpses can be caught of the sea. Wells is a historic harbour town situated on the estuary nestled between the sandy beaches of the Holkham Estate and the tranquil creeks which meander through the marshes. The town itself has an excellent range of shops making it easy to stock up on supplies as well as spend a pleasant afternoon browsing for gifts and souvenirs to take home. There is a fantastic choice of places to eat in the town many of which serve the delicious local seafood for which the area is known. The beach which lies just over a mile from the town centre is a wonderful stretch of sand which is backed by pine trees and makes up part of the Holkham Estate belonging to nearby Holkham Hall. Guests approach this cottage via an archway which takes them along a private covered alleyway at the side of the house and to the main door. Once inside they will find the spacious open-plan living space which runs the full length of the property. The lounge area of the room is located towards the rear and has two plump sofas which sit next to the double patio doors and allow guests to easily relax at the end of a busy day perhaps with a favourite programme on the TV. The dining table seating six is situated in the middle of the space beyond which the kitchen has been finished with some carefully chosen pieces which reflect the cottage s position close to the coast. There is a good range of equipment for those guests who want to eat-in including an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine.
