You can also head to the coast with the popular resort of Weymouth nearby (11 miles) which features a sandy beach traditional seaside amusements and a vibrant harbour. Weymouth is also home to the lifting Town Bridge the Radipole Lake RSPB Reserve and the Nothe Fort museum. Set at the end of an unmade track amongst original farm workers cottages this attractive cottage is accessed via three steps which lead into the porch.
