More Details
A romantic stay awaits you in this charming small house near Loubéjac in Dordogne. As soon as you arrive you will be seduced by the wonderful view of the surrounding hills. Once you have settled in, take a dip in the swimming pool (above ground). The outside of the house is typical of the region, all in stone, while the inside has been renovated so you have all the comfort you need during your holidays. In the kitchen, you will have the chance to prepare tasty small meals on the ceramic hot plates or on the BBQ. If you prefer to go to a restaurant, visit Villefranche-du-Périgord where you will find several good places. You will also find great shops there and beautiful monuments. The old market hall is still used for the mushroom and chestnut trade. If you want to visit other medieval towns, do not miss Monpazier and its beautiful market square (19km). Do you want something other than old towns? Near Prats-du-Périgord (11km) and Cazals (17km) you will find a nice bathing lake. This region is also very well known for its castles. The imposing Biron Castle (26km) is worth a visit, as is Bonaguil Castle in Lot-et-Garonne (17km). The Pearl of Périgord, Sarlat-la-Canéda (49km) should also be part of your itinerary.
