One of the UK s busiest fishing harbours with a proud maritime history Brixham makes a fantastic place for a holiday in South Devon. The harbour is the main focal point of the town but in recent years it has also become known for its arts scene and there are several galleries and workshops which are lovely to spend an afternoon browsing. The restaurants as visitors might expect mostly specialise in the local seafood brought home by the fishermen and there are plenty which are well-regarded some offering stunning sea views. Beach-lovers won t be disappointed as the town boasts several beaches from the main Breakwater Beach to the quiet and secluded St Mary s Bay. External steep steps lead to the front door of this three-storey property they pass through the porch before coming to a narrow hallway. The first bedroom at the front of the house is a light and airy double room with its own TV and a window seating looking out towards the harbour. Returning to the hallway the bathroom at the end of the corridor has a deep roll-top bath a separate walk-in shower and WC. Stairs lead to the first floor which is where the main living accommodation is situated comprising of a kitchen/diner which opens onto the lounge. This is a relaxing and welcoming space dominated by the harbour views and the exposed stone walls. There are two sofas here as well as a cosy wood burner and TV. The kitchen/diner at the top of the stairs offers a dining table seating six an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Further stairs lead to the second floor where the second bedroom is located in the eaves of the house and therefore has some reduced head-height. This charming room has lovely wooden floors exposed stone walls wonderful harbour views a king-size bed and like the other bedroom its own TV. The en-suite shower room has a large walk-in shower and WC. Outside the cottage there is an enclosed seating area with outdoor sofas to the front of the property a great place to relax with drinks and watch the activity on the harbour. To the rear of the property there is steep steps leading to terraced seating areas making it easy to find a spot to enjoy the sunshine whatever the time of day. The cottages also benefits from a parking space on the quayside. Take in the charm of this delightful property with the entrance being the perfect place to leave your walking boots behind. To your right is the first of the two bedrooms a spacious twin room. Leading on down the hallway you will find the kitchen/diner which offers an electric oven and hob coffee machine dishwasher fridge/freezer microwave and table and chairs to accommodate four guests.
