Polruan is an historic village famous for its boat building heritage. Perfectly positioned on the Fowey river estuary which is a thriving centre for fishing seafaring shipbuilding and agriculture. The villages remoteness gives the area an unspoilt charm with its narrow streets better suited to horse and cart then modern day cars flights of slate steps twist between the houses. There are two village pubs and a passenger ferry that takes you across to neighbouring town of Fowey. Further afield there are plenty of places to explore why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Visit Lanhydrock House or take the dog for a run at the trials at Cardinham Woods near Bodmin. This spacious cottage is spread over three levels with two staircases. Entering the cottage on the middle floor you will find a twin bedded room with stunning views across the River Fowey. Along the hallway is a handy utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer this also leads through to the shower room with corner shower and WC. On the middle floor there are two separate staircases to upper floors. By the utility room there is a small stair way leading to one of the double bedrooms with beautiful river views. On the lower floor there is a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining area is at the end of the room the table can seat six comfortably with views over the river and a patio door leading out to the garden.
