The vibrant towns of Church Stretton Much Wenlock Shrewsbury and Ludlow are also within easy driving distance offering a variety of shops pubs and restaurants. Shropshire offers a vibrant events calendar with many festivals and local events throughout the year to include The Ludlow medieval and food festival The Ironbridge George Walking festival and Church Stretton Arts festival. You will be well served by foot with immediate access onto the Long Mynd and Shropshire Hills owned and managed by the National Trust and offering well maintained paths bridleways and mountain bike trails. You can also easily access Caer Caradoc one of the most beautiful Shropshire hills with it s craggy ridge. Shropshire has many market towns and villages with famous regular festivals and fairs. Of particular note are the nearby thriving market towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury with festivals celebrating good food arts and crafts and music to include the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September and the Shrewsbury Flower show held every August. Climb the winding hill enjoying the views before you gain your first glimpse of the cottage set within the grounds of the owners estate set in an elevated position with uninterrupted views across the valley to Caer Caradoc.
