You will be well served by foot with immediate access onto the Long Mynd and Shropshire Hills owned and managed by the National Trust and offering well maintained paths bridleways and mountain bike trails. Shropshire has many market towns and villages with famous regular festivals and fairs. Of particular note are the nearby thriving market towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury with festivals celebrating good food arts and crafts and music to include the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September and the Shrewsbury Flower show held every August. Climb the winding hill enjoying the views before you gain your first glimpse of the cottage set within the grounds of the owners estate set in an elevated position with uninterrupted views across the valley to Caer Caradoc. Step inside and leave your boots by the door. You will feel the immediate warmth through the heated wooden floors from the underfloor heating. The space is open-plan and the vaulted ceiling with exposed frame is a pleasant surprise and is further enhanced by the unobstructed view across the Shropshire hills.
