Haus Laura lies 2km from the middle of the traditional, very friendly carinthian mountain village of Rennweg, towards the protected Pölla valley. Completed in 2007, the appartment is comparatively new, but is constantly upgraded. This year (2010) for example the (extremely friendly) owner has installed a skiboot dryer and a closed fireplace. The 2 bedrooms are roomy and comfortable, and the kitchen diner has all mod cons and a flat screne TV. The cherry on the cake is the karaoke bar downstairs complete with large TV, 900 song repertoire and disco lighting. Outside there is the garden, fountain and BBQ. Situated at 1800m and accessed along a 8km dirt track, this remote traditional hut is pure joy for people wishing to escape the 21st century. Up to 3 of the other 6 huts are sometimes used at weekends by local hunters (Dogs on a lead at ALL TIMES!), but all week you are king of the valley. Your neighbours are cattle, deer, badgers (a set nearby!) and if you are lucky, an eagle. Hot water comes from a tank in the wood stove, there is no electricity apart from for lighting, and the bathroom is located in the neighbouring hut. Literally a few hundred metres from the core zone of the Nockberg National park, and in the sun all day. Wonderful!

Innerkrems is a pleasant family skiing area and during the summer a walking paradise. In the direct surroundings you'll find the breathtaking Nockalmstraße, which is only accessible during the summer. This is one of the many beautiful outings during the summer months. From up on the balcony the valley falls away, and the panorama is extraordinary. Döllach lies between the Grossglockner mountains and Lienz. The sunny Putzenhof chalet is situated on the edge of the village and from the living room and the balcony you have a great view of the surrounding mountains and the Gartl waterfall. At the rustic and nicely furnished chalet, the hiking trails start right outside the door, opening up an ideal hiking area up to 2508 m. You have access to a balcony and the children can play freely in the natural environment. The basement home does not belong to the chalet. You will be thrilled by this romantically rustic alpine cabin, situated in the midst of the beautiful Möll Valley at the foot of the Grossglockner about 6 km above Mörtschach at an altitude of 1450 metres. Set in the middle of a lovely forest clearing, you can expect a relaxing time far from the hustle and bustle of everyday stress. In the living room you can cook on a woodstove equipped with a tank for heating water, and the boiler for the comfortable shower is also heated with wood, while the lights in the cabin are solar powered (12 volt). There is a bedroom with a double bed and there is a sleeping loft above the living area. The cabin is ideal for 2 adults and 2-3 children or for additional adults if they don't mind sleeping in the loft space. As is usual in the mountains, the toilet is in an outhouse with a heart on the door, exactly like in the old days...... The outhouse is lighted. The cabin is fenced and there is a large swing for the kids as well as a place to grill. In the cellar you will find a large, water-cooled refrigerator. Please note: There is a radio in the cabin, though no conventional electricity, so there is no place to plug in electronic devices to operate them here. This nice detached house is located in the southern part of the Mölltal near Rangersdorf, a the border between Carinthia and Osttirol and 23 km east of the pleasant town of Lienz. The house can easily be reached by car, because it's not far from the main road. On the bottom floor you'll find the pleasant living room with open kitchen. The newly renovated and comfortable Unterhofer Alm is situated on the Pfaffenberg, on the sunny side of the Mölltal, located at an elevation of 1350 metres above sea level and set entirely off by itself, surrounded by the outdoors. Not suitable for people looking for lots of entertainment and a luxury house, but for those who want to have the feeling of going back to nature, and want to spend their holiday in an admittedly simple, but very rustically decorated house with plenty of wood in it. You will have this enormous farmhouse is in a fabulous location with southern exposure at an altitude of 1000 m and a view of the Möll river valley all to yourself, so privacy is guaranteed! The house itself is 100 years old, but has been tastefully renovated with an eye to preserving it (lots of wooden balconies and floors). Downstairs there is a very large eat-in kitchen with a traditional sitting area where hunters have gathered to tell each other stories for centuries after a few beers. From the corridor you reach a modern living room with DVD player, wood fireplace. You also have access to wireless Internet throughout the entire house. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Outside you'll find a new sunny terrace and since there are only 6 farmhouses on the road, there's practically no traffic. The surrounding area of Gatternighof is also known as the pearl of the Hohe Tauern National Park. And for good reason: from the farmhouse you can walk in a beautiful nature reserve still unblemished by tourism. Here you'll find wild orchids in bloom and there are rare birds and insects to admire. So be sure to bring along a pair of binoculars. Who knows? You may well see a deer, a stag or a chamois! The towns of Spittal, Lienz, Villach and Klagenfurt are also well worth a visit. In the winter and summer months you can enjoy plenty of skiing and snowboarding on the Möll glacier (about 20 km). This ski resort offers you 77 km of pistes and a snowboard fun park. From the centre of Obervellach (about 10 minutes by car), you can take ski buses to different ski resorts: Ankogel-Mallnitz 13 km, Großglockner -Heiligenblut 35 km, Lienz 40 km and Goldeck - Spittal an der Drau 30 km. The ski resorts are also easy to get to by car. The adjacent Lärchen Stubn is open by appointment and you can contact the owner.
